NFL Preseason Football Live at Raymond James Stadium | Kansas City

Planning to catch the NFL preseason in Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium? Then you’ll want to know about the parking lots because they’re kinda the unsung heroes of the game day experience. These lots aren’t just for game days; they’re often buzzing with activity during local high school football games and other events, making parking a bit of a puzzle sometimes. Back in 2020, Arrowhead’s parking team got creative, turning the lots into a drive-in experience during the pandemic, imagine watching a game from your car, kind of like a drive-in movie. Usually, parking opens about four hours before kickoff, so there’s plenty of time to tailgate, grab some snacks, and soak in the pre-game buzz. Business partners and VIPs have designated areas, but for regular fans, there’s ample general parking, just watch those marked boundaries so you don’t end up parking in the wrong spot. And if you’re flying into town, I-70 is the quickest route to get you close enough, though navigating the lot can be a little chaotic sometimes, especially during big game weekends. Whether you’re here for the NFL preseason Kansas City action or just soaking up the stadium atmosphere, these parking lots are more than just a place to leave your car, they’re part of the whole experience.
